Each December, the Rotary Club of Canmore’s Festival of Trees fills The Malcolm Hotel with professionally decorated Christmas trees, sponsored by local businesses and auctioned or raffled to raise money for community causes in the Bow Valley.
What to Expect
- A hall of themed, decorated trees to browse and bid on
- A “Crowning of the Tree” opening at The Malcolm Hotel
- Family days with kids’ activities and Santa
- Proceeds supporting Canmore and Bow Valley charities
In 2025 the festival ran in the first half of December. We’ll add 2026 dates when they’re announced.
Getting There
Canmore is about 75 minutes west of Calgary on Highway 1, and you don’t need a park pass to stop in town.
