- Skate on the lake in front of the Chateau when the ice is cleared.
- Sleigh rides along the shore.
- Dog sledding and guided snowshoeing tours.
- Ski Lake Louise: in 2025, Santa skied the resort from December 23 to 25, handing out candy.
- Hot chocolate: Lake Louise spots are part of the Hot Chocolate Trail.
Getting There
About two hours west of Calgary on Highway 1, inside Banff National Park, so you’ll need a Parks Canada pass. Parking at the lake fills on holiday weekends; arrive early.
