Banff Hot Chocolate Trail 2026–27

Every winter, cafés, restaurants and hotels in Banff and Lake Louise create signature hot chocolates for the Hot Chocolate Trail, running November 12, 2026 to February 7, 2027.

How It Works

Grab the trail map from Banff & Lake Louise Tourism, then work your way through the participating spots. Expect toppings that go well beyond whipped cream, plus spiked versions for the grown-ups.

Fit It Into Your Day

• Morning at the Banff Gondola.
• Afternoon at the Banff Christmas Market.
• Hot chocolate, then In Search of Christmas Spirit after dark.
